5,000 gallon Koi Pond

Built this pond a few years back instead of a pool (fam is still upset) and couldn't be more pleased. Only mistake I made was adding a few bluegill early on to control mosquitoes. (No mosquitoes now, but 6 bluegill have turned into a few hundred). Anyhow, here's a few pics.

Each spring the boys and I harvest a hundred or so. There is a disabled gentleman with an enormous pond who takes them each year. I think they become his dinner once large enough....but I don't ask

Haha that's hilarious that the fam voted for a swimming pool and they come home to a koi pond. hehe....nice! Good job either way!
