Hi,

Does anybody know if there would be a problem putting a 5.5'' Armatus and 20'' Tiretrack eel together in a 230 gallon. I just bought a 20'' Tiretrack eel and would like it in my 230. Thanks for any tips.

My concern is that a 20" tiretrack eel could possibly eat or at least try to eat the armatus. Armatus' grow very fast though so that would not be a concern for long. I think that ultimately they should be fine.

I have had a 20"+ and a 12in. tire track in with my Armatus since it was about 4 inches. No problems. The big eel can hardly eat goldfish.....NO WAY is it going to even attempt a fish over 3 inches.

Mine is only a 125.

i would say its ok, they should get along fine

yo DB any fighting between ur vamps yet?

that payara is a little small but you could try it once it grows a little then all should be good

Some mild sparring here and there. Actually had to boot out a gar last night cause the thing tattered the tail of the big Raph and dorsal of the Armatus.

I think it'll be time to split them up soon. Tats have almost quit eating completely. Things will NOT touch feeders. As soon as the Armatus gets big enough to not get attacked by the rays it will go in with them and a dat herd. Hopefully the Tats last that long.
