ok so im setting up a 5.5gal for a frag tank

im gonna be useing a jbj nanocube hood with 2x24w PC

here is the questions

1.) should i use lr behind the frag rack ? if so how much ?

2.) should i use LS or not ?

3.) the light will be ok for zoas, leathers and other softies i assume ?

4.) should i use cheato behind the frag racks ?

thats pretty much it i think i got all else figured out

1. yeh u should use live rock, about 5 lbs if you don't have a sump
2. Live sand would be best, but not necessary
3. lighting should be fine
4. no experience with cheato

best o luck :)

if its just a frag tank hook it up to your display tank so you can have it bare bones with just a light a good powerhead, heater, and thats all.

I would not go with live sand in a frag tank. A frag tank requires high flow to prevent infections and sand will cause problems by blowing all over the tank. A few pounds of live rock will do along with some carbon.
