I just upgrading my fish in my 5.5 gaalon into a bigger tank, I have 6 freshwatertanks and was thinking of switching it up with a small nano tank but my question is what would I need to buy, I have a heater tank glass top and a hang on filter, I was think of just live rock a saltwater hermit crab and MAYBE a small 3/4inch blue dmsel, and is this even posible?

and sorry if this is in the wrong spot

I also dont want corals just live rock if that helps

Get around 7lbs of live rock. Your stuff should be ok for no corals, I would get a very small powerhead though. As far as stocking goes, you could get the smaller gobies and a cleaner shrimp and a couple hermits.

PS you will have to do a water change once a week.

dO A WATER CHANGE OF 15-20%. I'm really not sure about the media.

Yes you can use it .I have a 12 gal nano and a 5 gallon I am thinking of setting up all the info you seek and more can be found on nano-reef.com

Sounds like a good plan, i would just use live rock as the filtration, and leave the filter off...10% water change per week..Only really get away with one small fish, like stingray12 suggested, a small goby..In my 7 gal, i am going with a watchman goby and pistol shrimp...
