with a juv male saum?

He is going to get his butt kicked all over the place isn't he?

I am asking because I am considering taking my midavil to the lfs and replacing her with a male gold saum. It seems hard to find any that aren't still small. At least in my area I never see any big ones.

Should I take my chances and get a (hopefully) small male or wait and somehow try and find a bigger one?

Once the midavil (who will be missed) is gone it will leave me with the female gold saum and a 4 inch convict (love-hate dither for the saum).

The midavil has been getting particularily bossy lately and I feel the time has come to give her up (since I cannot afford a larger tank for her at this time).

So I took m y Midavil to the LFS and now I have picked up a 2 to 3 inch gold saum. I am not sure of the sex however. So far the new queen of the tank (see pic in the first post in this thread) has been whooping it good. Not sure how long 'it' will make it for. GTs are tough though.

Yea I miss her but I wanted to look out for the welfare of all my tank inhabitants. My original intent was to get a huge tank for her at some point.

Thanks for the compliment. She was a cool fish though (to me, not the other creatures she ruled over). Even my crawdad comes out a lot more now.

When the LFS asked me about store credit I said I don't care about that. All I ask is that whomever buys her has a huge tank. The guy said he would do that for me. I hope he does.
