IN A LEGAL STATE!
caught a 5 to 6 inch LMB today, have him in a 20 gallon right now temperarely, how long till i can use water from tap hes in mostly lake water now, also will a 200gallon last him for life?
 
30 wide can do him for life. The water will last him some time. Just make sure to take say 2gal out add fresh... next week or 2 another 2gals. Or u can just make sure that filter is boosted.

are we talkin about puttin a LMB in a 30 gal wide:eek:

NO! it wont last him for life. the 200 could possibly, depending on demensions.

and do 5gal water changes avery week...in the 20.
 
I think the 200 would be good for most of it's life. Just make sure you use lots of filtration.

Also, get that bass on pellets and supplement with frozen foods and feeders.
 
so should i just feed him like i do my Piranhas?
 
If that is what you feed your pirhanas, yes.
 
ops forgot to add the inch mark on the 30. Any tank thats 5 feet long or more and 30 plus inch would work just fine for him for life... Sadly to say 2 foot will last u a long time but not for life, Well maybe... I hardy see bass over 27inch. An remember... thats in the wild. So u might come short. Well come to think of it... 24inch might work. but if he out grow that extra inch in the tank :x
