Got 20 clown loaches together in a 170g, ranging from 2"-10", landscaped with hiding places. All eating well, nice and fat. They come out to greet me for food in the evening, otherwise hide and still skittish during the day.
10mins ago, I heard a loud crackling noise as I was behind the fish tank. Then I looked in and saw the school bolt away from me. There was some sloughed off slime coat from one loach floating around. Now this 5" fat loach is laying on his side, shocked , in some sort of paralysis, breathing heavily. Then it bolted away, still shocked and still in a daze, laying on its side. I've experienced this b4, either they slowly come around or simply die. I believe that it must have rammed itself into the wall of my glass tank. This sucks! Anyone with actual clown loach experience ever dealt with this? Many thanks!
