I just saw this whole browsing through their website. I know in the past people have asked about getting bigger clown Loaches.

I have never ordered clown Loaches from Imperial Tropicals. I've only ordered rainbowfish and panda garra which turned out great. I have no affliation with this place other than being a customer.
Mike, the owner, mentioned in a YouTube tour I watched recently that he supposedly keeps his clowns for about a month before selling them. The Implication being that they aren't the fragile ones that are just got imported that die right away. (I've seen tanks of the tiny new imports at local stores and I'm amazed how many die ).
This price is decent considering liveaquaria has sold ones of these size.for way more. Liveaquaria doesn't even have any ones larger than 3" in stock. They want like $18 for 2.5" ones off the regular site. The Divers Den ones are usually $70 for 3 in the 2.25-3" range.
Price is $44.95:

Liveaquaria:
Approximate Purchase Size: Tiny: 1" to 1 1/2"; Small: 1-1/2" to 2"; Medium: 2" to 2-3/4" Large: 2-3/4" to 3-1/2"

Edit:
Judging by my clowns I got last year, I'd say it took me about a year to get mine to around the 5" mark from my 2-3" purchase size. They might not even be exactly 5" as I can only guess from a dead rainbowfish that I measured and how big the clowns looked next to other rainbows that are about the same size of the deceased one.
