5 gal Planted tank

Alright I finally got some more decor for my awesome little Fiji including more plants... They are still fairly new so we will see how they do over the next few weeks but heres the tank as it is right now.

your not worried about those sharp pieces and your beta and catfish?

they are soft plastic and so light they almost float, I don't think anything could cut itself on them even if they tried with passionate determination.

probably safe enough, but IMO the tank would look better w/o them . . . very nice betta, tho', and a good looking setup overall . . .

The reason i had gotten the little rocks in the first place was because the substrate is so fine its like powder and clouds up every time i go into the tank to do anything so I was hoping they would help to keep it in place when i have to go on there.. like to scrub algea...which i need to do.... did not count on them being so light they damn near float lol
Probably will just add some more to give it a more solid surface

I would add smaller rocks/gravel on top of the substrate instead of those clear weird looking ones if your looking for convenience It would look better too ;D

I like the crystalline look, it's oddly out of place amidst the rest of the natural setting that sort of brings a fantasy world feel to it... in my opinion at least.
