Decided to rescape my tank before i get my new Betta on Saturday
Before
Dry wood i found on the banks of the Flint. Believe it is Oak
Arranged the wood on my bed before i boiled it
Placed the wood in my tank. Didnt use all of the branches as it looked too crowded
Attached Java Moss and Java Fern to wood. Had 5 Fern rhizomes, only two retained their leaves during tying. Placed wood back into tank
Added plants and refilled with water. All plants were originally in the tank, none were bought. It's amazing what a new centerpiece and a little rearranging can do

Left Side
I think my cherry shrimp may be a little traumatized, but the big female who is usually the most active is already exploring her new habitat. Hopefully with all the little branches and hides they will stay active after i get my female CT. Their activity level shot up after Jareth died, the big female even runs laps around the top of the walls. It's the funniest thing ive ever seen. Can't wait to get my IAL so the water will stain.
