Hey so i just decided to set up the empty 5 gallon hex that i had lying around. The substrate is flourite from an older tank and there will be a sponge filter going on it. I think the hood allows for a 15watt bulb. I was planning for this to be a planted shrimp tank. My worry is that i feel like my lighting is pretty limited, does anyone have any suggestion on lighting/plants for the tank?

I have a 4G shrimp tank myself. I found a great light from Catalina Aquarium.

I had them change out the bulb for the 65k bulb

The fixture itself is kinda cheap. Made from plastic but it works great for me and for 15 bucks you can't go too wrong.
