So far no plants yet....
I am still arguing with my substrate -_-
I love bioactive substrates for my vivariums but thinking it's not quite the best idea for an aquarium...or at least not this particular substrate... it is a very fine powdery substrate made for aquariums...but it's already annoying me. because it is so fine the slightest movement stirs it up and makes the entire cloudy... After getting it in with the water i let it sit for a few days and it settled out but left a thin layer of dust on the insides of the tank.... so i try very carefully to wipe that off without stirring up the bottom...to no avail....
So my question is this!
Should I add a layer of rocks or something over the substrate to help keep it down? Or should I just try and get my plants going in there and avoid stirring up the bottom to much after that...... or...what...
As I get this tank going I will post pictures, updates and questions here....
