5 gallon shrimp tank

Hello

After seeing LondonDragon's tank chock full of RCS and CRS, I am now thinking of setting up my dormant 5 gallon as a shrimp and fish fry tank. The tank was only going to be used for holding BN fry until they were sold off. Max 4cm. So I have a few questions.

- How many of each species can I have in this tank?
- Will the BN fry and shrimp go okay together?
- Is it neccessary to have plants in the tank?

Not sure about the first question, but i know youll need plants in the tank for the shrimp, and fish, to use as cover. i think the fry should be fine with the shrimp.

After thinking about it more I think I could possibly go with a 2' planted even. We'll have to see. I think if I went for shrimp i'd have to get some Australian native shrimp, like chameleon shrimp and red nose shrimp...
