5" jad missing scale

i just notice that my 5" jar is missing some scale. what should i do, should i treated or just let it heal. it was cause by running into the drift wood, skittish little guy

unless there are signs of infection avoid meds.

clean water is all you need. scales regenerate rapidly on there own, however it may be afew months before the new scales regain the color of the others.

just did a 50% water change when i noticed the missing scale. how often should i change the water? he by himself in a 55 gallon with fuval 405 canister

Just keep the water clean and they'll grow back in no time at all.
