Please help before I spend a heap of money. I have placed a order for a 8x2x2 fishtank.
In the same shop they have a tank full of 15cm jardini saratoga and they seem to get along.
My question is if I buy the tank with 5 Jardini how many years will I get out of the tank before they get to large, or what will be a ideal tank to house 5 jardini.
I understand they might fight and this might not work.
Thank you in advance for your help.

They will never outgrow the tank most likely. This is because you will end up with only one after they kill each other off.

A jardini only comm? Jardini and "community" don't go in the same sentence, unless "impossible" is in there too. Its just something that could only RARELY work out, & only with LOTS of trial and error- more work than its worth, probably. And should only be done by an experience ARO keeper. Now keeping a jardini in a comm with other aros (not just jars) can be done very feasibly if you know what your doing.

Lol good luck, as sweet as it would b I don't see it ever working in the long run

i think it is possbile to have a comm of jars cause they have to breed them some how but it think that have huge ponds

They all seem to be happy together at the moment in the aquarium shop, they are approx 15cm and not showing any aggression towards each other.

Really? It must be OK then. I'm sure they're all settled in and are not in a very overcrowded scenario.

Of coarse if you'd do some research you'd find that most jars that go psycho do it around 10". Do as you like if you feel you've done enough home work.

Im doing my best to research the 5 fish in one tank. I also believe thay are not showing signs of aggression because they are all cramped up in a small tank, once they come home into a larger tank they will start to get territorial.
