would my tankt be too overcrowded to add a 5 star general ( 5 spot jewel cichlid) in a 45 with 1 blue acara 3 convicts 6 tiger barbs and a pleco?

well your already to packed with the blue arca and 2 cons... the 3 cons would be alright in a 45 or 1 blue arca. the tigerbarbs will be killed later on and gens are said to be very mean. Mine are peaceful tho it depends on the fish

I beleive the 5 spot jewel is also technically an african like the regular jewel cichlids are. Although most think of them as SA

i'd say it's overstocked now without adding anything else. those cons start breeding and you're going to have a bunch of dead fish on your hands
