if i put a female con in with a male con and a male FM, what are the chances of her spawning with the FM instead on the male con? 50/50?

Much much lower than that I would guess.
I haven't seen a convict spawn with another species when in the presence of a potential mate of their own species.
I think the propability would be higher with a male and female con and another female cichlid. I've seen male cons breed with more than one female at once, so I'd guess they might breed with a female con and a female of another species.

If I was put in a room with a female gorilla and a female human, what would I choose? Chances are extremely low that I would choose the gorilla. But if the human was butt ugly....
