50 gallons, how many perch?

I have a 50 gallon pond, would that be large anough to house yellow perch? If so how many?

50 or 500? If its 50 thats kinda small.

50 is too small for an adult sized perch. I would look to a minimum tank size of 90 gal for one fish. They require a good amount of swimming room...even though they aren't very active all day they can be spooked easily and dart around the tank wreaking havoc on anything else in the tank. They are very quick swimmers that dart sudden;y when spooked and during feeding.
