I have this listed on Craigslist but figured I'd post it here too incase someone is close and wants it.

I have for sale a 50 Gallon Hexagon Fish Tank Aquarium. It is 24" Tall and 24" or 28" wide depending which points you measure from, I have to many and need to get rid of this one. It was made in the 1970's, not a misprint. The glass is *extremely* thick, they don't make them like this anymore. It weighs well over 100lbs empty. It has one *tiny tiny* chip at one of the outside seams but it's been like this for the 5 years I've had it and it's never been an issue. If I didn't tell you or point it out I doubt you'd ever notice. To my knowledge it's never been resealed. Seeing as it's old the glass has some scratches and marks but overall not bad at all as you can see in the photos. I've moved it numerous times and it's been filled and emptied many times without issue. I'd keep it if I could but I am out of room.
It has sliding glass tops included but they appear to be original and are stained somewhat from hard water, light gets through fine though. I am also including a 200w Tetra Glass Heater and False Tree Stump that fits the tank perfectly so I am letting it go with it. Nothing else included, no stand or lights. It does have a stick on thermometer on the glass.
I will clean it up some and fill it up so you can see it holds water but I am offering no warranty on it. Please have an suv or truck to pickup with a blanket to set the tank on. It is not going to fit in a car. I will help you load it. It is priced cheap for a quick cash sale, no checks or money orders and the price is firm @ $100. Pickup only.
