Hopefully these load a little better than the previous attempt. Out with Photobucket:wall: and in with Flickr.:D

I shot all but the last two pics with the 55-250mm kit lens. I sat back from the tank, about 10' and used a tripod. I thought they came out reasonably well considering the low budget lens. The first is my favorite.:)

Glad you like Flickr. I started using it when I was trying to keep up the high quality of my DLSR photos.

I'm jealous, the deep tanks make it nice and easy to get the dark background. Most of my fish shots are with my 50-200mm kit lens as well.

WoW!!!!!!!! GT your pics are Awesome! I hope that when I get a good camera I can take photos half as good as yours! Your fish keep getting more and more color to them,I really Love the coloring up of your Jag bro I haven't seen that much blue before, is because a special diet ? you know just thinking it kinda reminds me of the honduran jag that Mo has but Hondurans are rare though... sorry for rambling just waking up ..... but Awesome Pics to wake up too!

You have definitely converted me. IMO there is no comparison between the two.

The 4' tank depth really helps as well as every wall being black. :)
I have always used the 18-55mm lens but after these shots, I think I will get more use out of the larger lens in the future.

Thanks. The jag usually shows the blue through the fins but he doesn't get the color through the body like Mo's honduran jags. I would be happy if he did though.:D
