55/75/100G Loach Tank

What are my options for a loach tank with a 55, a 75, and a 100g?

Interested in CL's mainly.

Also would any Geophagus be compatible? If not then what SA or CA fish would be? Medium sized. Not a large amount.

Ive got 5 clowns in a 180, they are mixing fine with 4 different species of geophagus

My Clown pack live in my 100USGallon with a shoal of Congo Tetras, shoal of ruby barbs, a big male Convict, 2 big Syno Eupterus and a big Distichodus Sexfasciatus.

I think Geos would be a good choice in a 75 with a few thousand loaches....I mean a handful of loaches

Depends on the shoal size. The 55 and 75 will make good growouts til they reach 5-6". That will take some time for you to go bigger than 125 if possible. Geos will be good tankmates.

Yeah i believe you could put a few in that 55 or 75 and get some rotkeils firemouths those eartheaters wouldbe nice but goodluck with whatever and post pic's.

The clowns are always overrated. Try the smaller species for a change. They tend to be fun to begin with and it doesn't hurt to reserve the space for dozens of small loaches rather than gradually decreasing the number of clown loaches as they begin to outgrow a tank.
