I currently have 2 F8's in a 30 gallon, and in the future I would love to have a 55 or 75 gallon (possibly bigger if I have to, considering the fish I want). I'm interested in monos, scats, and archers, but I'm not sure if they would go with my F8's or if they would need separate tanks. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

the only issue I see with the ones you want is that you will need a bigger tank if you want to keep all 3

Thanks for all the input! I wouldn't be setting it up until next fall, so I have time to get a bigger tank that would house everything I want.

Bare in mind that those fish all apreciate different levels of salt. F8's like around 1.005sg, the archers do best at around 1.010, and the monos and scats will need to be aclimatised to full marine eventually. Plus like it says above, monos archers and scats get big, and are all shoal fish. so that means idealy you should have about 6 of each species. As I'm told especialy with archers, that single specimens can become shy and reclusive.

it would take minimum 6' tank for a shoal of adult monos to have sufficient room to swim
