I don't think they can be in with any other species or they eat them. If the fish in them is larger than can be eaten, they will eat at the scales of the larger fish. I think it's best these guys are alone, and need to be kept in shoals of at least 8 to minimize aggression towards each other. I'm sure they can be kept with some fish (maybe), but I'm not too familiar with Exodons in the first place and don't want to misguide you. I'm not sure how they are on price either, you'd have to check with your LFS.

I agree, they are great fish, however, they can get a little pricy at around $7 or $8 a piece, and you want to get at least 7 or 8 of them.
