55 Gal Cichlid Tank Suggestions

I decided to turn my empty 55 gal into a cichlid tank,

But I have NO IDEA what types of cichlids to put in there..lol Im thinking something along the blue colors or just plain bright colors. Im just trying to figure out which cichlids would look good in a 55gal tank.. I already have a JD F-0 Pair from Ira's. But im looking for something a bit different.

The floor is open to the suggestions thank you

Do you want to keep central/south american cichlids or africans?

If bright vibrant colors is what you are looking for then i would take a stab at an all male peacock tank.

Being a someone with "Shiny Object Syndrome"- (husbands words not mine..lol) I love vibrant colors, BUT im looking for some which can live together with minimal issues. I will look up the suggestions you guys have given me.
