55 gal for panfish?

Hey guys my 55 gal is empty now and all i have is my betta in a 5 gal. So with my 55 empty i am hoping to get some sun fish this coming spring. Last time i went fishing i caught a lot of sunifish looking like

How many could i put in my 55g w/o them being over crowded?


Was hoping to put like 2 or maby 1 if it will be a larger species

The black bass (Lobina Negra, o Robalo) are very beautiful too....

the natives fishes are pretty. In cuatrocienegas, coahuila have extrange fishes too.. but is a zone of natural conservation, no have exportations of here. jeje

Well, that's a green and they can be pretty mean. You might be able to get away witha couple of them, but if you get a really bully, he might narrow it down to just 1. If you get some smaller or more peaceful species, you might be able to have a couple more.

If you living in australia o europe, this fish be considered whit a very exotic and beauty fish, small yes, but extrange and colorfull

In te lake tanganika the locals fishes are treated as your to that fish.
The same in tailand with the snake head

yeah its a green sunfish, and you would probably be safe with 2 in a 55 gal, you could try three if you get em when they're small.

If you get three, and they decide to breed, you will have one left.
