I am sort of a newbie to fish keeping and a newbie to this forum.

I currently have a 29 gallon that I set up a few months ago. I have now gotten myself a 55 gallon.

I have 2 green severum that are being moved to the 55 gallon with a featherfin squeaker. I am looking for a group of colorful fish that stay fairly small... may tetras or barbs I think. I was also thinking about a group of cories. Will this work? Need suggestions for barbs or tetras. I dont know much about them. Thanks in advance.

I think a school of like ten black skirt tetras would look awesome in there. Maybe a nice school of panda cories too, or just a big school of different kinds.

The severum are still very small (1 inch). I did not know that would get large until after I bought them of course. I will be upgrading again within the next few months as I know they will get bigger. For the time being I would like to add a few others. I like Julii (?) cories a lot and I thought about albinos as well. I have been looking around online. I like black skirt tetra and I like the looks of lemon tetra... Thanks!

Severums are not the most aggressive fish, but they can eat smaller fish.. I'd recommend some rainbow fish...
