I currently have an empty 55 sice last week when I got my 75 and transfered my community tank to it. I was thinking about piranahs but cannot find any good info. Any suggestions?

Get rbp's because they rule!!

3 rpbs (4 at most) neutral/slightly acid water, about 78-80 degrees. good filters. Feeding is easy, they will take feeders, shrimp, bits of fish, worms, crickets and pellets.

hey man either go with a shoal of pygos or get a rhom

hey guys ive just finished helping my bro install a 55g for 2 small RBPS he wanted to 4 all togather but talked him into only 2 for now till he knows more about them but he dosent know how to set up the scene for them and ive never had any RBPS and dont know either dose any one have any ideas or pix of RBP tanks as im tired of seeing it just siting there all ready to go but no water in it!

Try to give them dark surrounding with a few places to hide. Dark gravel, with some rocks for them to hide behind, or something similar for them to hide under. If you want to try your hand in live plants, start off with a few Amazonian Swords. I currently have about 3 RBP's, 4 Exadon, and a Pleco in a 60g tank. They've been doing fine for a couple months now. You also might want to get some Blackwater extract to make them feel a little more at home. Blackwater Extract will give the water a slight colorization, and add certain nutrients they are native to in the Amazon (From what I understand).

That tank is pretty nice looking. I'd switch out the gravel for something a little darker.

The exodons and plec are on borrowed time my friend. Move them now before its too late. It might be a few months, a year, maybe 2, but they will not survive long term in that tank....
