I have a 55 gal planted with cories, ottos, neons , rasboras, and im looking for a centerpiece fish. I want something that gets big but obviously not too big for the tank. I already had an angel and want somthing different and new. Thanks!
The fish mentioned are unlikely to survive the warm temperature especially neons so discus are not the option here. How about pearl gouramis? Have you ever thought of getting Pomacea bridgesii for centerpiece inverts?
I think the festivum is a big plant eater though. Its in the cichlid family isn't it. My tank was full of plants till I went with cichlids. Now I have ugly plastic plants.
