I have for sale a 55 gallon aquarium that was purchased new 14 months ago. Everything is in good working condition. The only reason I am selling is because I have upgraded to a larger fish tank. The tank is still running with a few fish in it to keep the good bacteria alive and well so that this tank will be ready to setup immediately after getting it home (fish are not for sale). Tank dimensions are 48" long x 13" wide x 21" tall.
The tank comes with:
- wrought iron stand
- lid and two fluorescent lights (15 watts and 18" long each)
- AquaTech 30-60 hang-off-back filter with active bio floss that holds good bacteria (you can buy more carbon inserts from Walmart for a cheap price)
- Aqueon 300 watt heater that can keep the tank at up to a steady 90 degree temperature
- 40 pounds of tan pea-sized gravel that also holds good bacteria
- two pieces of driftwood of your choice from the four that are in the tank (will consider giving all pieces for extra trade value or buyer is willing to offer more for them)
- the clay pots if you want them
- I have $50 of spare decorations I am not using in any of my tank that you are welcome to take with the setup if you want
- I have an air pump available as well that I took out of this tank a month ago because it was bothering my angelfish (still works just fine)
All this tank will need is fish!
I am willing to consider a full or partial trade if the value is relatively even. I need a canister filter for my new 125 more than anything else, but I would consider trades for a 90-125 gallon tank (tank itself and/or pieces to help setup one). If offering an item of lower value for trade, please be prepared to offer cash to bring the value up to an equal exchange.
I can deliver the tank to within a 30 minute drive for gas money. Beyond 30 minutes will require the buyer to either meet part way for gas money or come pick it up.
PM for additional photos if desired or if you have any questions about the setup.
