55 Gallon Divider

I'm pretty sure there is already a thread for this topic but i couldnt find it. I need to find a divider for a 55 gallon tank. I'm probly gonna buy some plexy glass and cut it to fit, but just wanted to see if there is any commercial dividers that would be easier. Ive seen some type of white crate looking divider in some tanks with black suction cups. Any links or ideas welcome. Thanks

plexi works... egg crate (homedepot in the lighting section) also works well.. depending on what sort of fish you have you can even use window screen or a combination of screen and egg crate (my personal choice)

zipties and suction cups are usuially the easyest way to mount them.. IMO sticking the suctioncups to the tank and bracing the divider between them is way easyer than trying to mount the cups to the divider..

again.. depends on what yer stock is.. bubble wrap also works great for sealing around the edges of stuff..

petsmart and petco or just about any lfs usually have dividers for a 55g in stock.

Yeah i found the divider at petsmart but was told it dont hold up too good. I went by lowes today and found some egg crate that will work perfectly, thanks anyways
