My 55 gallon tank has an emperor 400 on it and my tank has become mildly stocked. I have decided to buy a canister filter but am not sure of what to buy. I have read the stickys and still cant decide. I am leaning back and forth between eheim and fluval. I just need some input thanks

You might want to look at the Sunsun canister filters. Most reasonably prices units out there. Since all canisters have a $10 motor and $30 in plastic parts, it makes no sense to pay over $200 to the high priced manufactures.
