55 gallon filtration

Hey guys new to the site, i would like to have your opinion on my filtration setup. I have an albino tiger oscar (7" right now) in my 55 gallon aquarium, i'm running a Penguin 350 Bio Wheel and an undergravel filter with power heads. I also do a 25% water change every week. Does this sound like enough filtration?

I would tear out the under gravel plates, especially with an Oscar. They like to dig. Put a foam prefilter on the power head instead and you should be good.

You will need more along the lines of 50-75% water changes. Also, you will want to basically double the filtration. Shoot for 550gph or more.

i run a emperor 400 and a penguin 150 right now... looking to have two emps.... emperors are alot better... and although i dont use them AC110's also have good feedback o n their use...

get a cansiter filter included with your current filtration.

I have AC110 and XP3 in my 75gallon plus powerhead. with oscar it a messy eater you want tons of fitration for it.
