55 Gallon....Help....Suggestions

Hi...
I'm looking for fake plants to put in my 55 gallon tank, any suggestions on using plastic or silk (which one to use)? Also, any suggestions what to use, I know everybody has there own taste but I would like some ideals.

I would go with the plastic, the silk ones look good and all, but in time they start to look bad. At least they did for me. The silk ones started to fall apart and curl up. I too have a 55g and i had it nicely stocked with the silk plants only to replace they 6 months to a year later.

not silk they do fade as already stated! but so will plastic they will just take a lot of years! i have some faded ones which are falling apart because they have been suberged on and off for almost a decade!

Go, silk, and go to a craft store, they are cheaper, and cooler looks!!!
