55 gallon Ideas?

So I have an empty 55 gallon that I used to house my tiny Dovii for a month or two before he was moved to his 150g and now I have no use for it. I want to keep another cichlid(s) but not sure what to get. ANY Ideas for anything are encouraged, please post.

I was thinking either 1 RTM (I know maybe the tank is too small), pair of HRP's, Convicts, or Firemouths...

I'd do a red istlanum personally. Ive had 4 firemouths in a 55 but I like more exotic volatile fish. Rtm would need a 75 male 55 female 125+ pair. Lyonsi are cool to and might not outgrow the 55. Carpintis might do good in a 55 but I haven't kept them personally. Grammodes are great but its 50/50 being shy or out going.

Istlanum is the coolest smaller cichlid you can keep imho. I have 3 in a 75 & they are dovii with a.d.d at 2"

A group of 6 blue rams, 6 Otos and 30 cardnel tetras. Use some driftwood, java fern and Anubis for a great looking low tech planted tank. That's a good use for 55 or save it for hospital tank.

I'd have to say my favorite 55 stocking I had was my Neet pair and some dithers. What they lack in color they more than make up for in personality and attitude.
