55 gallon set up

trying to mooch this set up off my friend, need some room for some severums
would i be able to keep two full grown sev's and maybe a geophagus, if not i can prolly toss the sev's in another tank
also what foot print is the 55 gallon i know there basically the same as a 75 but just not as wide?
also it might be a 50 gallon thats what he thinks but ive never heard of a 50 gallon

The standard 55 is 4 feet long... a foot deep and 19" tall...
There are two differant 50 gallon tanks that are fairly common...
A 50 long thats also 4 feet by 1 foot but is only 17 or so inches tall and a 50 breeder thats shorter but wider. (don't have the exact diamentions on hand.)

The 75 gallon also comes in several types...
The 75 tall is the same 4 foot by 1 foot base but 2 feet tall...
A 75 standard is 4 feet long... 15" wide like a 60 gallon...but slighty taller than a 60.
A 75 wide or breeder is 4 feet long 19" tall but a foot an a half wide...

yea my 75 is around 48 long by 18 wide 20 tall
