55 gallon stock?

What would be the best stock for a 55 gallon tank?

I only want chichlids, but my pH is high (8.0)... so please give me some suggestions.

How many and what kinds?

I would def do african cichlids with that high PH. They'd be very happy in there and you can keep a good # of them if you get the right mix.

I'm also starting up a 55g and putting these ac's in there:

2 - Blue Johani's or Demasoni's
3 - Cobalt Blue Zebras
3 - Electric Yellows
3 - Red Zebras
2 - Acei's

If you're not into ac's, then maybe some exodons?
