55 gallon stocking ideas.

I'm trading out my SA/CA cichlids to get some Africans for my tank. I'm ginning to be getting Victorians. Specifically sp44 and dayglows. I was wondering how many I can stick in a 55 and of what genders aswell as would I be able to add some peacocks in aswell? And 1 or 2 plecos.

I'm also open to ideas of different fish I should stock with if you have any suggestions. Thanks

At a minimum six, but it depends on the size. Large males maybe 2 and a few females a piece. I''ve mixed them with malawii's so you can do other semi aggressive Africans. I've kept 12-15 in a 55.

Also is there the chance of the Vic's and peacocks cross breeding. Also could I do 2 male sp44 with 3 female sp44. Then 1 male day glow and 2 female dayglow. And then 2 strawberry peacock and 2 OB peacock? Plus 2 plecos?
