55 Gallon Stocking Question????

Ok I know I should do my own research............But, I would like to get a pair of Salvini. I was wondering if they can live their lifetime in a 55???

Can they have tankmates And if so, what would be suggested in a 55.

The tank is cycled and I have some convicts in there to "hold" the cycle. I will be removing the convicts as soon as I get my other fish.

Who has the best Salvini for sale here......

I would say 2 sals should be fine for life with some tetras and a cat or other cleaner

the pair should be fine there, but I wouldn't add much in way of tankmates other than an expendable school of giant danios or buenos aires tetras

I would say that is fine. There are several other species you can put in a 55 gallon. Stay away from the vieja, amphilophus, and parachromis species, they will get too big for a 55 and the male will surely kill the female.

For tank mates I would get some giant danios.
