I currently have a 55g set up, been running for about a year or two with a 6" Jack Dempsey, a 3" convict and a 10" albino pleco. Am I completely stocked, bioload wise, or do I have room for another fish. If so, could someone reccomend a cool, head-turning fish?

thanks

I think you are pretty well set. even if you added more filtration you may have territorial problems by adding another fish with the JD and convict.

load seems to be maxxed for the tank go for a 75 or larger if you want to add more fish plus gives those fish alot more room to swim

Just out of curiosity who dominates the tank, the JD or the convict?

Most likely the former.:)

The Jack Dempsey is a female, and isn't too territorial with the convict. The convict doesn't pick many fights with her either. The JD does sometimes chase the convict out of its territory though. So I guess the JD does. If I got a 75-100 gallon tank, any suggestions then. Ive checked my local listings and i've found a few within my price range.
