Okay, so I've been looking around at stockings for 55s and have seen a heavier stocking used sometimes... Upon introducing my con to my 55 today with my newly introduced carpinte (both fish 3.5") the carpinte was forced to the upper corner all day (and now). Should I add another smaller growing cichlid to the mix to spread out the aggression?
The tank stock is in my sig, and here are a few things I've thought of, but am unsure of...
1. Leave it as it is and see how things go.
2. Add a school of tiger barbs as more target fish.
3. Add a bellycrawler (or any <10") pike
4. Add a female(?) salvini
I figure I'll know after a week or less with these two fish, but I was just wondering if the "overstocking" would actually work in this situation...
