First the numbers:
55 gallon 48"
Target: 8 fish, all Neolamprologus.
2x Brichardi complex (most say these only need 25gal tank)
3x Leleupi (1m/2f)(most say these only need 25gal tank)
3x Tretocephalus (1m/2f)(Most say it needs the 48", but they also say it grows to 6", which is not supposed to be common.)
Filtration: 250gph (realistic, after head) DIY Reverse undergravel filter with a sand substrate. 60 gph powerhead.
I know all three are rockdwellers, the tank will be set up like a mbuna tank.
I would start with juvies.
The tank is up and cycled with fish, but my golden killifish have grown faster than my Praecox rainbows and will eat them soon. Since I have to give up one of these, I would prefer to restart the tank. I can bufer the tank easily.
Is this viable? If so, how many juvies of each should I start with?
