Will a 10 gallon sump fed by 3/4" PVC, 330 GPH HOB, 2x 220 GPH powerheads be enough for filtration for a 55 FOWLR? The sump will be complete in about 3 to 4 weeks, can I go ahead and start putting the live rock in and running the tank or should I hold off?

How much Live Rock would you recommend?

If I want to paint the PVC pipe black, what kind of paint will be okay to use? or should I stay away from paint?

What kind of a stocklist will I be looking at in a FOWLR 55 gallon, NO reef? Myself, and by myself I mean my girlfriend, prefers purple and yellow colored fish. Something good for a community, and something relatively easy for a novice.

How much Live Rock would you recommend? 1-1.5 pounds per gallon
