55 Gallon Tank Cichlid Ideas

I have a 55 gallon tank, which I think is perfect for a good amount of Cichlids. I know this isn't the Cichlid Forum, but I didn't know exactly which Cichlid Forum to post in, seeing that there are many. Can anyone recommend an amount for me to put in there as well as some good kinds?

Depends on what kinds of cichlids. A 55 could make a nice african tank. If your referring to some of the bigger SA cichlids than it would probably just house 1 to 2 ie 1: oscar, JD, GT, etc. or 2: Firemouths, Rams, etc..

I would stick with dwarf cichlids or the smaller ones like firemouth, salvini, or jack dempsey.
