55 gallon tank pics

Just got a shipment of plants and snails today that all went into this tank. I'm not sold on the way I've laid out the plants....this is my only planted tank. I know one thing I'm going to do is separate the vals in the background because I bunched them all together....was trying to get everything unpacked and in the tank and then go back to work (I work from home quite a bit).

This tank is now home to all the platys and variatus plus 2 Thorichthys pasionis, a firemouth, 5 chetumalensis and 5 sajica.

here are some pics of the fish in the tank. I know a couple of the pics are out of focus but I included them anyway because they really show the beautiful colors of the pasionis. I'd originally ordered 4 pasionis but lost 2 of them. I thought the odds of winding up with a male/female were pretty slim but actually, based on the differences in their body shape I think I actually did wind up with a male and female. Still I know that's no guarantee they'll pair up and spawn but it's at least a step in the right direction
