That's a lot of fish in not a lot of tank. I would start shopping for one or two 125 gallon tanks. By the time you have the larger tank(s) cycled you would want to break these fish up.

So you have a QT or back up tank as a plan B? You might not see the fighting but I would keep an eye on these fish for signs of stress and malnourishment.

Welcome aboard

Tbh no I suggest a aquarium over 100 gallons but you still may have aggression issues as they mature.
Agree with Tom, both those cichlids will get far too large for for a 55 gal alone, as adults.
From the pics they look like juvies at the moment, so it may take a while to reach full size.
Beyond the simple water quality issues that occur in a small tank like a 55, both species are territorial, and would require a "minimum" of @ 55 gals of footprint each, to be remotely comfortable as 10" adults. Fish don't get handles like "terror" and Jack Dempsey (a boxer for the early 1900s") for playing nice, in limited spaces.,

I had a green terror and a JD in a 60 for a couple years as a teenager, it worked ok but I doubt it would’ve worked for life. Also my GT was a female. I sold them to go salt. I think you can get by for a while, just be ready to rehome one of them or upgrade. You’re also gonna need to be on top of water changes
