I have the chance to buy a 55 gallon slate bottom tank. I like the way they lokk. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how rare these are and what a good price would be. The guy is asking $100. Thanks

i dont think they are necessarily rare more then just an older tank...you see older tanks with that type of bottom...100 for just the tank seems high unless it comes with a bunch of stuff...anyway who cares if its rare just as long as you like it pay what you think is fair
at petsmart, they have brand new glass 55G tanks for like 89.99. seems a little much for used and a little older..
