55 gallon tank stand!

Okay, I have the base and top of the stand. How do screw in the legs? Do I have to screw them in sideways?

Kinda like this, how do I screw them? I cant screw from the bottom, because that contains the screws that connect the long part of the 2 by 4.

What is the base??? Best guess from the picture is just carefully screw in from the bottom aiming to miss the screws. You should have attached the legs before you put on the deck. Post more pics moving it around and I will look when I get home from work in 1 hr.

screw it from the bottom to where it misses the other screws. toe it like this only thing with screws that are at least 3 inches. put 2 in each 2x4 so a total of 4 per leg.
