Hey guys!

I am interested in turning my 55 gallon into a planted predator tank :)

The 55 gallon has standard dimensions:
48 x 13 x 21

I'm interested in stocking my 55 gallon with:
- Senegal Bichir
- Delhezi Bichir
- Rainbow wolf fish?

These were the 3 base fish I had in mind, I would definitely like add more but it's okay if I can't.

I don't mind plants being uprooted and being moved around.

Thanks in advance

No need as I've had the same combo with success and Smaller tetras and barbs.

Gotta introduce the red at a little bit smaller size and never feed live food. Should tolerate tankmates and anything added later.

But yes larger tank will help to keep each other away abit and avoid aggression with decor.

personally I love the sengalus I have a regular and an albino, a teug bichir, a gold dust bichir, 3 ropefish, 2 elephant nose, a royal pleco, a fire eel and some mollies and guppies and prawns. They do well in the 55 gallon they are in now although it is crowded with all the fish but they are moving to a 100 gallon soon the closest thing to aggression I have in my tank is the albino who is by far the biggest will lay on top of every new addition when they get into the tank but after he proves he is the biggest he is fine even at feeding time
