I have a great 55 gallon tank that I have been trying to sell on Craigslist locally, but not getting very far with it. I am asking $120 and I will deliver it for that price, if we haggle then you have to be able to take it with you
. Here's what it comes with:
*clean tank with 'oak' trim 48x12x24
* 2x6 wood stand unfinished outside, but nice looking. Measures out at 48x18x32.5. Was originally built for a 90 gallon, so it is real heavy duty with a plywood top.
*Fluval 304 filter or HOB's- I have 3 smaller (Penguin's and Tetra's)HOB's that would filter this tank great, or I can include an AC110 with a bad impeller(cheap fix).
*air pump (no tubing or stones, but these are cheap items)
I also have two different lighting options for this tank:
*48" T8 with a single 6400K bub
or
*48" shop light with twin T8's
I don't have a spare heater at the moment, but you can choose ornaments out of my extras free of charge!
The one down side is that the original center brace was broken by the previous owner. I can assure you that it holds water fine and will continue to do so. The original owner broke it down cause fish keeping was too much work for him. The reason for this confidence is due to the design of the rim system used, it was built with a one piece THICK rim, not a cheepo thin plastic type you see on most tanks (my 125 included...).
Come by and take a look I'm sure we can strike a deal!
Tank not shown, but its just empty and no good pics on the stand...But this is what the stand looks like:
