You didn't expect it to draw blood? These things can remove limbs!!!:irked:

You need to smarten up. Animals are not dispossable objects for our entertainement. Why don't you tell your mom about what your animals are capable of before buying any new ones. Tokays will also draw blood if you already didn't know that.

Your tokay set up needs work, put some plants in their. And I don't recommend having them together.

All we can say.... we warned you about the monitor.

Clean up the aquarium, there is no reason for it to be dirty. Put some plants and cork barks in there.

Well you can't say we didn't warn you. How come you haven't changed that potting soil out yet? Just gonna wait till one of the lizards gets hurt by it?

And you said your nile was in a 75 gallon, not a 55. Maybe it was best for the nile to go back.

Throw out the potting soil. It most likely has stuff in it that's bad for your lizard. And add plants...fake or real, although healthy real plants always look a whole lot better.

Hell, set up a vivarium with live plants and active cultures in the substrate. Do a little research and work at it some and you could have a beautiful setup.

:iagree: clean the glass, tank looks vile

i win...i said it less then a week ago that the nile is a liar it will bite and look it did...i told you it lied... boost up that 55 gall make it more extravagant for the tokays...the tank has the space to be more extravagant... and yes please clean that GGGGGGnarly lookin glass

potting soil = bad

Eco-earth or repti-bark would be a much better substitute.

Also, it looks like you have a full-spectrum light on the cage, you could probably get away with some live indoor plants to make the setup look very nice and give the tokays some cover to hide in. You can keep the plants in pots as well to make it easy to maintain them. Putting more plants in the setup also "breaks up" the territory a little bit and, if you MUST keep them together, will help decrease instances of aggression.

In its current state, that setup needs A LOT of work.
